Farruko (birth name Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado) was born in Bayamón (Puerto Rico) and is a singer and songwriter. His musical style is best described as a blend of Latin pop, reggaetón (a form of dance music of Puerto Rican origin, characterized by a fusion of Latin rhythms, dancehall, and hip hop), hip hop, and bachata (a genre of Latin American music that originated in the Dominican Republic in the first half of the 20th century with European, Indigenous and African musical elements). He’s had a stellar career with 5 studio albums, 5 compilation albums, 46 music videos, 51 singles, and 1 mix tape. He’s collaborated with Ky-Mani Marley, Nicky Jam, Shaggy, Arcangel, Ñengo Flow, Genio, Kelmitt, Alexio La Bestia, Messiah, Sean Paul, Gotay, Tempo, J Álvarez, Mozart La Para, Jenny La sexy Voz, Durán the Coach, Daddy Yankee, Natti Natasha, Benny Benni, and many other renowned artists.
