Illenium, California's sensational electronic music artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Aragon Ballroom!

Illenium (birth name Nick Miller) was born in San Francisco and is a DJ and record producer. He began his musical journey in 2008 and he cites dubstep artist Bassnectar as a big inspiration. While his musical style can be broadly classified as electronic, it's best described as a blend of progressive house (a subgenre of house music developed in the United Kingdom as a natural progression of American and European house music of the late 1980s), dubstep (a genre of electronic dance music that originated in England and features overwhelming bass lines, reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals), trap (a subgenre of Southern hip hop that originated in the 1990s and is characterized by ominous lyrics, heavy kick drums from a Roland TR 808 synthesizer, double time division hi hats, and layered synthesizers), and future bass (a broad genre offering a wide variety of sounds and rhythms normally produced by a synthesizer). He's had a stellar career with 1 studio album, 3 extended plays, 18 singles, and he's collaborated with many renowned artists such as Cristina Soto, Said The Sky, Sirma, Jeza, Mimi Page, King Deco, Echos, Joni Fatora, Dirt Monkey, Seven Lions, Haliene, Nevve, Gryffin, Daya, Kerli, Zeds Dead, and Annika Wells.

Don't miss your chance to see this artist add a unique touch to electronic music!
